Hi Ladies. I'm 16 weeks and have my appointment to hear the heartbeat for the first time in 2 days.

I'm starting to worry that they wont be able to find the heartbeat.

Has anyone had this and everything still turn out ok?

I'm just over 16 weeks and heard it first time at 10w 6d heard it few times since. I always get worried lol!! You'll be fine. (I recoreded it last time) u should do it. Always makes me smile xx

Yeah i stopped usin my doppler few days before my 16w appt just so i cud get excited on hearin it again lol she found it pretty much straight away, ull be fine

Thank you. They said at the scan I had a large healthy active baby and the downs tests came back with great results etc yet I still panic before every appointment

ah I think most of us are the same, I worried myself sick before my scans and everything has always been ok xxx

I think we all worry about this, I remember waiting for both my scans and worrying the heart wouldn't be beating then either.
It's totally normally to worry but I'm sure everything will be ok
