Ok so here I am again...still wondering how far along I really am. Went to the Ob/Gyn last week. I explained to her what had happened...and she didn't really seem to care. She knows about the previous m/c's, she knows I'm over 40...and she did absolutely no testing whatsoever! She only talked about sending me in to have a needle shoved into my belly to see if the baby is going to be "normal".....I told her that was a waste of time because I refuse to "cancel" my pregnancy anyway...no matter what the results...I told her that I DON"T WANT TO KNOW. I told her that I just want to know how far along I am, and to make sure it's one baby and not more in there...(because twins and triplets run in my family and I was on those stupid pills)
So she has me going in for an u/s in NOVEMBER!!!! Is that the stupidest thing you've ever heard of ? Other doctors that I've had in the past do them within a month or two at the latest...especially if you don't know how far along you are. Why wait until the end of the second trimester? ( it will be if I'm as far along as she thinks? She never even checked me down below..sorry if TMI...and she never tried to listen for a heartbeat...she just assumed that I got pg in June. If I got pg in June then the doppler should pick up the heartbeat. Why is she keeping me in suspense like this? And why did she tell me to avoid stress when SHE'S the one who is the biggest cause of my stress? UGH!!
Anyway, some of you told me to keep you updated...so I am...lol

Oh hunny I would be getting second opinion. That is really not good enough, I'm not suprised your stressed. Don't stand for that!! You don't have to have an amneosentesis if you don't want one as the risk of m/c from them 1/100!!!

Plus your age and the risk of multiples I would be fighting for a second opinion!!
