Hi i was wondering if anyone has any advice on being self employed and if you have had to get signed off sick?
I may not be able to do my work for much longer due to severe back and pelvic pain and pain in my pubic bone. It doesnt help with me being a cleaner for a living and its getting to the point where an hour and a half into a job i am almost incapable of standing up straight, the pain is unbearable.
I am under a physiotherapist about it and she says that my pelvis isnt aligned right and has given me exercises and a body/back support bandage thing to wear. But these are not doing anything to help. Apparently i am too small (bump) atm for a back support and i am to go back anytime it gets worse.
I am trying to get into to see my doctor (hardest thing in the bloody world to get an appointment) so i can discuss with him what my options are if i do have to go on sick. I think i can get ESA benefit but i'm not really sure? Does anyone know what you are entitled to when self employed and too sick to work?
