Semen Allergy

I have just been diagnosed with semen allergy. I have read up on what options are available to me, and it appears that in vitro might be the best/only chance I have?

Wanted to see if anyone have this allergy, and what course of action did you take? I am hoping that there is a natural remedy that can help with this allergy...

wow poor you! How does that manifest itself? I have allergies to all sorts of things but that is a new one on me, (now I have to worry maybe I have that too.)
For other allergies I avoid histamine inducing foods such as red wine, strawberries and tomatoes. And a friend just told me to make a tea with licorice as it is a natural anti histamine. I don´t know if that would help you but i hope you fine a solution.

Oh i am so sorry to hear that, i am also curious how you found out about this, i worry that i might have that, since we can seem to get pg with IUI, but not on our own.

I would always get a burning sensation after intercourse if my partner ejaculated without a condom on. The burning sensation would start immediately, and lasts about 15-30min. I didn't really didn't think anything of it until I actively started ttc. I guess it was an intuition that this wasn't right about the burning after sex? So I started researching online and came upon this particular allergy.

So I made an appt with my gyno (which was yesterday), and she basically confirmed this. She said that my body basically kills off all the sperm even before they have a chance She referred me to a fertility specialist, and I will be making an appt soon.

I am so sorry this is happening to you.. but I have heard of this before..
IUI is a great ave. for you..so not all hope is lost !
