Semen Analysis questions..

We've been TTC for two full years. I have abnormal cycles, but as far as I know I DO ovulate (and not just show signs of it). We've had sex on the day of or the day before ovulation for every single cycle for these past 2ish years. We did get pregnant a few months ago but it ended at 5 weeks. My husband said he wants to get a SA done just to be sure it isn't him.

We aren't ready to dish out the money for a fertility specialist unless we have to. Who do we get in touch with for a SA? Where is it done? What does it typically cost? Anything else I should know?

We had one done at my OBs office. It was $200

You can go to a fertility clinic or a urologist. I believe ours was $70.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know you ovulate without having tests done?

Thanks, ladies. I see a midwife through a birth center, so I don't think they'll be able to help me. I will call a urologist though.

I'm not 100% sure that I ovulate, but all signs point towards it. My mucus changes to fertile mucus, my cervix rises and is soft and open, and my OPKs turn positive. Followed by negative OPKs, creamy cm, and a closed cervix. I very well might not actually ovulate, but as far as I know, I am.
