It isn't a game, but damn it sure feels like an awful joke most months, doesn't it? I'm so sorry that you are going through this! It is so emotionally draining. I wish you a BFFP (you can guess that the second F is!) sooooon!

Nothing new here except my cold symptoms are getting better and my breasts seem less tender. I only had that one instance of "spotting" morning 13 DPO and then nothing else. I don't usually spot at all...typically I just get really bad cramps all of a sudden like hours before the witch will arrive and then I get a pretty full heavy flow immediately.

I'm guessing being under the weather just kind of delayed it...so I bet she'll be here soon...Ugh. I'll keep ya posted though.

AF is certainly on her way. The spotting has increased a bit as well as the cramping. Grrr

Sorry Beep! I guess the thing that I still don't understand and I'm not sure if anyone (even doctors) could explain it to me...

why does the TWW have so many different variations when you aren't pregnant!! Like I get that PMS symptoms are pretty much IDENTICAL to pregnancy symptoms BUT what causes them to vary from month to month?!?

Like for example how come this month my breasts started hurting at 9DPO when normally they don't start until like 12 or 13DPO? How come some months I have terrible heartburn during the TWW, no related to what I'm eating, but other months not really at all? It's just so bizarre and freakin frustrating.

I definitely don't ever expect a BFP anymore. I legit think I would pass out if I saw one at this point. I've started to come to terms (slightly, very slightly) with the thought of a life with my husband and no children. As hard as that it is, it's easier for me to wrap my brain around that being the reality than picturing myself getting a BFP, physically being pregnant and giving birth, and having kids. I hate that it might be a weird intuition that I have. I WANT children very much and feel like my husband and I would be wonderful parents, but I don't FEEL like it will ever happen.

Is that horrible?

Totally!! Why does each TWW hold new and different things than the last? Especially at my age I feel like my body should have had enough time to establish a regular cycle! Sheesh!

I don't ever expect a BFP either. I always used to picture myself to be a "oops, OMG I'm PG!? What do I do??!" Now, I feel like that isn't even possible within my body. I feel like I just won't ever be one of those ladies with two lines, veiny boobs, morning sickness, a bump, a newborn. I often ask my husband (just incase) if he wants children so badly that he would consider adopting because I'm not capable, but he thinks he only wants a child with me, SO now I am single handedly ruining both of chances of being parents. :/ Super sad. I think he would be an amazing father and I can't fathom taking that away from him just because my body won't do what it is naturally supposed to do. I completely understand imaging your life with no kids because it seems so impossible. I'm right there with you. Um... on the bright side, I guess we could buy a nicer house someday than if we had kids? and travel and play ... ....

Let me just say one more time.... my last post wasn't enough... I'm solo frustrated! I just went to the bathroom expecting full force af as I was more heavily spotting earlier, and now nothing!!!! BAHHHHHH!!!! I think I wasn't to start saying going to the loo. I see the accents in here all the time and I think the going to the loo sounds much funner and less disgusting than going to the bathroom! I went for a wee in the loo and nothing! GRRRR

so how's it going today?
have you guys tried any alternative methods or anything? I had a friend who was trying for 2+ years and everything looked fine. They looked up a doc in NYC that specialized in getting people pregnant by introducing an 'organic' way of life and wouldn't you freakin know it - preggo! She started to eat all organic food and cleansed her body of any of the toxins that non-organics introduced to us. She said she felt so great, more energy and clearly it also helped her getting pregnant. Let me know if you want further info, I can get the docs name. I think he has a book too.

Beep - Sorry you're still being tormented. I went to the loo myself about an hour ago and AF has finally arrived in all her bloody glory. That wasn't meant to be gross, it was meant to be me cursing in British speak

Ugh. At least we cal laugh about it. You said you're late for school...are you a teacher too? I am! Or are you still taking classes yourself? We actually had ANOTHER snow day today...I'm in the North East. It's going to be a loooooong June. Ah well, I actually love snow days. I'll take em every time. I find it easier to teach when the whether is nicer. I know some see it the other way around but I just hate winter so much I'm a grump and I have no motivation to make school exciting for the kiddos. Oops went on a little tangent there.

Wish - That's interesting. I myself have tried hard(er) to live a somewhat organic life. I'd be curious to know if your friend really let it extend into areas beyond just food like the products she was using, etc. Besides my dangerously low levels of Vitamin D (I know how hard is it to remember to take a freaking supplement!?) I'm really pretty healthy myself. I've made a lot of positive changes to my diet in the past few years and started yoga, which has really helped with de-stressing.

So CD1 for this lady. On the the next cycle.

If you don't mind me asking Beep, why haven't you decided to try anything like clomid or IUI after all this time?

Alwaysannie- I'm not a teacher. Still in school. We had all our snow days last week! (Portland,OR) sorry you get them all this week I always feel so behind when we miss classes. Also, I am totally bit D deficient as well. I got a letter from my doc saying I had a Vit D deficiency, AND someone in this forum being Vit D defic can cause infertility? So... maybe we need to remember to take those supplements!-- And we don't have insurance for fertility treatments. It's not considered a health issue. :/

"I think the biggest thing is getting as many toxins out of your body as possible, so yes, I did mostly organic food and drinks, although I pretty much only drink water, milk and switched to tea (used to only drink coffee on the weekends anyway, so wasn’t a huge deal). She was very educational about trying new types of foods, like chia seeds, which can be put in anything raw really (like yogurt) and don’t really have any taste, Chinese herbs, and fruit/veggie smoothies to reduce the acidity in your body, which is increased by things like alcohol and coffee…..

The other great thing about Dr. David is he didn’t just focus on me, he told DH he needed to stop putting his laptop on his lap, cell phone can’t go in front pocket, baths/steam showers need to be no hotter than 100 degrees or something (I forget) but also alcohol is bad. That was a major item."
