Has got a grumpy, poorly teething baby today!!! She's had 3 horrible stinky nappies, ended up leaking through her nappy onto my bed and is just a horrible child....i've been punched and kicked and bitten and slapped and had my hair pulled until Luke came in and took her off me.... I tried everything to calm her down... we tried reading books, playing music, having cuddles, laying her down just talking to her...leaving her to cry with her cot mobile.... giving her juice...nothing worked!! Eventually Luke managed to get her to go to sleep and I've had a good cry....

I feel like she knows there's a change coming and is resenting me....i've been trying to spend some quality time just me and her....even if its 5 minutes before bed reading a book....or 20 minutes having a cuddle when we're watching telly (doesnt sit still for too long lol) or me and her having lunch together without Luke about...but it just got to me that I couldnt settle her today

Sorry for the moan ladies....i just needed to get it off my chest!!!

YM, I am sure she doesn't know what is going on hunni, I expect she knows Mummy has not got the energy she usually has, and may be interested when you are holding a new baby, and will want your attention more then, but it soon becomes easier, My girls love each other like mad now, and Sophie just makes Rosie sit and laugh at her, she loves her big sister and because Sophie see's this adoring reaction to her she loves it and loves her!
I think the girls are closer than my other 2 are with the same age gap that are boy and girl, although they still share a big bond
Keep as rested as you can, not long now til you meet Pip xx

Nothing much from me, Rosie did a poop yesterday 3 solid lumps which she did with no nappy on, and then placed it in her car seat!! I was looking for ages for where the smell was, I knew she had done something but just couldn't find it!!Lol!

Sarah, glad the cat came back, how selfish though, you need words with that cat!

Right off I go, have one seemingly sulking upstairs, but he is a teenager so i never can tell! One playing sonic for his sister(mmm) one at brownies, due back shortly, one in her pj's all ready for bed, and the littlest ready for bed in her 'i love daddy' baby grow, looking very cute indeed....Much as I am getting broody with all this baby talk, I think that little 'team' is quite enough!!

Aw ym don't worry it will be fab I have another friend who had a 13month gap between her two and they are adorable she is planning her wedding too she won't know any different unless you treat her different. Remember how much a newborn sleeps? Well you will have your energy back and just cuddle and stories then. By the time pip is bigger they will be used to each other

Thanks everyone! Gg I don't think I can afford a digi atm, I've spent so much on tests this week! I have 1 ic and 1 sainsburys test left so will do them tomorrow then prob will buy snother own brand to do on Saturday! Then maybe next Friday on payday I'll get a digi so I can see the word!! Lol

Ym sorry you had a bad day sweetie I hate days when Holly is unsettled as I end up feeling like s bad mum. You will do brilliantly when pip arrives

YES EMZY!!!! I am sooooo happy for you Holly is going to be an amazing big sister!!!

Kara - I wish she would come...i'm fed up of being fat and waddling now and just wanna meet her.... Luke reckons the 30th she'll make her appearance, my mum reckons the 30th or the 2nd and my dad reckons the 7th!!!

I'm hoping to BF this time round again.... but the only person I had problems BF'ing in front of was my FIL! I just felt soooo uncomfortable around him!! I just put a muslin over me last time...but Kimi was soooo hard to latch and in the end, I just had my boob out! My modesty was left at the labour ward doors!!!!!!!

It's Kimi's due date today.... I remember getting to this point and feeling VERY frustrated that I had no baby but anxious that it could happen ANY time.... 7 days later and I was in labour and 8 days later had my beautiful little girl!!!

Well, I went to the doctors yesterday to make it official and I am now awaiting a dating scan so no ticker for me! Emzy, we can be bump buddies!!! xx

Oh I am stressed out got a job interview for the perfect job that I have been wanting to do for so long admin in a local school working thursday friday when i can get my SIL to look after ollie so no nurseries. But the interview is on Monday when I am away so rang hopin they would change it to the following Monday but no such luck the lady was lovely saying they had lots of applications and that i made top of the shortlist with only 4 other people but they need someone asap and want them to start wednesday. I am so peed off cos thought I had a good chance. The lady said they will keep my application cos it was great and they may have other things in the pipeline, but wont get my hopes up. Sorry for the rant ladies. Oh well got the holiday to look forward to I suppose.

Oh my word, I forgot how frightening first trimester is- I am not going in there again, too many stories of ruptured eptopics and MCs... I'm going to stick around in here if that's ok!!
