September Stars

Asher - I spoke to soon and JJ has only just gone down for the night ... He too had a massive vomit tonight thick with mucous, all over dh lol. Work is good can't believe I've been back three weeks already. I'm doing 7.30 till 4-4.30 so I can pick JJ at a reasonable time as my office has changed to a 45 minute motorway commute. There are loads of new staff but bar one they are all really nice and I just keep my distance from the one I'm not too sure on. I'm managing to keep up with the work just at the mo but have said to HR that if my Friday holidays are successful then I will be applying to amend my working hours in the longterm. I'd love to work 4 days I know it's only reducing it by one day but that's extra time I can spend with my man .

Lbb - don't you need to put the pic in photobucket or something and then you can use the address for it to post? (this is sheer guess work)

yes you are correct :) x (if you want to use it emzy il have a go at that :)) x

Thanks jelly x

Aww poor jj that sounds awful :nope: good work is going well.

I hate website design

urgh SO ill!!! Entered an eating competition with the manager of a restaurant I feel like shit and I lost by one pizza slice :hissy:

Hi everyone, no time to reply to all so just want to send hugs! Things not thR best here, dh and I seem to be rowing constantly and it's all a pile of poo if I'm honest! It never gets sorted but then come the evening it all seems to be forgotten about by him but not by me! I'm thinking about getting a job but not sure I want to be back in the classroom at the moment. Would love to get a job in child protection/safeguarding but unsure what to do about it without going back to uni to study social care!

Lilia took an accidental step yesterday.. Other than that no closer to walking ! She is teething I think, very very snotty and her eyes are also constantly running, poor thing. She was sick in her new shoe today!

Hugs to all xxxx

Ps when's our next meet?!

Louise - yay for accidental steps ! If it's any comfort dh and I were arguing over petty things couple of months ago and would constantly be on the defence with each other. Even though I was busy everyday on maternity leave and saw people I didn't realise the difference it would make by going back to work our relationship within a couple of days has gone back to how we used to be. For me personally work has given me a little bit of ''me'' time back.

You've had alot of changes Wayne away with Lillia being young, then coming back, then moving and to a smaller house . I think it's completely understandable that you are both bickering. I also think it's difficult for the mum as nothing really changes for the man in a relationship when Lo comes along as they can still go out to see the boys, go to the cars, golf, socialising etc whereas the mum appears to have to ask to be able to do things such as can you just look after Lo whilst I have a shower / put dinner on/ see friends in evening/ go shopping/ clean the house/ get up in the night etc.

:hugs: do you fancy meeting up again soon when jjs better ?

Hey ladies, sorry to hear that Sam and James are poorly and poor Lilia throwing up in her new shoe! Hugs to all you Mummies and babies.
I know I couldn't make the last meet as I was away on holiday but I really would love to meet some of you local ladies. I am in Chislehurst so Maidstone and thurrock etc are not too far for me.
Louise, I hope that you and Wayne manage to get your relationship back on track. It is so hard when it seems all you do is bicker. Before the wedding all me and DH did was argue and it was terrible and I never saw an end to it. I cannot even imagine how hard it is to adjust to life when Wayne was away for so long and now there is pressure to try and make life extra special as you missed each other (IYKWIM)- kind of over compensating for the fact he was away? Massive hugs being sent your way. But on a better note, Yay Lilia for the accidental step!
Riley is no closer to walking the lazy boy and the most steps he has taken is 3. He is one of the eldest in here but seems to be taking forever to walk!
Must go, he is now pouring his juice all over the sofa and thinking its hilarious when i say NO!
Catch up later ladies. xx

Jelly definitely up for that when he's feeling a bit better!

Teeny I was thinking about organising meet no2 but but thought it might be a bit cheeky having it in Maidstone again when others had to travel? I still don't think Lilia will be walking any time soon, although she's starting to enjoy walking with our hands and will now walknholding just one hand!

Thanks for virtual hugs ladies, it's just getting me down as I feel he's constantly getting at me.. I feel as though it's related to me not working so I'm probably being defensive too!

Morning! Aw Louise sorry to hear you've been rowing, it's awful when you bicker all the time. Me and Matt went through a phase like that when he was made redundant as all of a sudden he was at home all the time and wanting to get involved in everything. It soon stopped after we both started back at work. Yay for the accidental step! Holly was like that, not bothered about walking but then all of a sudden she started going and hasn't stopped! She now runs everywhere lol

Sorry to hear about all the poorly babies, I hope they are better soon.

I'd love to come to another meet but I don't think I'll be down south any time soon :( I should get on with organising this northern one really, but lots of people said Stockport was no good. I might just stick with Manchester City Centre or the Trafford Centre or something... but then there's no where for the babies to play or anything. Asher, any ideas??

I feel a bit bad. Remember my friend who had a miscarriage earlier this year? Well her OH came round this morning to pick up Matt to take him to squash. Last time I was pregnant we told them straight away as we are really close friends and so we planned to tell them this time too. So he gets here and says that he has some news, his GF is pregnant and about 17 weeks, so I'm thrilled for them. Then Matt said erm we were going to tell you that we have some news as well, but we're not really telling anyone yet as it's very early and our friend just didn't say anything and started talking about our rabbit hutch... I think he probably felt a bit put out like we were trying to steal their thunder or something! I wish we hadn't said anything now, but as we'd planned to tell him Matt just sort of told him anyway.

I went out in town for my friends birthday last night! Was weird having a sober night out, was sick of the sight of lime and soda by the end of the night and I was sooo tired by 11pm so went home LOL! Party on. Fortunately I have told the girl whose birthday it was that I'm pregnant, so she understood!
I have told a few close friends that I see regularly and my parents but I'm not telling anyone else til 12 weeks. The people I've told were the people I would want to tell if something went wrong anyway.

x

LBB someone beat me to it with the logo for June Bugs! But could I please have the code for yours too?

Louise me and other half have been constantly arguing just lately too. Usually about the 'messy' house...James' toys pushchair etc...erm you can tidy up too you know! Grrr! Doesnt help that he is giving up smoking i suppose but tough cack! He seems to think the £130 he is saving from quiting will pay for his karting (£30 per week) which it does...and his guitar lesson (£15 per week) and yesterday he decides to look at gyms, favouring the most expensive £45 per month and says "the money im saving from giving up smoking will more than pay it" WTF well what will pay for ur karting? Sorry im ranting now! Hehe x
emzy as soon as im on the pc il do it for you hun x

Afternoon ladies! It actually feels like evening, I was up at 6 with Sam and have been busy ever since!! I had made a fish pie from scratch and prepared all the veggies to go with it by 8.45! I am sooooo tired now. Lots still to do.....

Jelly, poor JJ, these little ones are really going through it at the moment. It's so hard for them, and nobody's getting any rest!!

Louise, sorry to hear about your issues at the moment. Hope things improve for you soon. It must be so hard with all the changes that have happened from day 1 for you and Wayne. You know you love each other to bits, but the day to day can really get on top of you! Yay for accidental steps for Lilia too!!

Blob, your post about the food competition made me laugh! Hope you feel better!!

Emzy, I would still love to meet up too!! You're right though, Manchester centre or the Trafford Centre would be good places, but nothing to do for the little ones. We'd be better at a play centre or something. It needs to be somewhere which is easy by public transport and car, and as central as we can get it I guess? I'm crap at this kind of stuff!! Great at turning up for things, just not the best organiser in the world..... :(

Right, I'd best go and get some more stuff done. We're supposed to be leaving for swimming at 2. I need to clean upstairs yet, and there's loads of washing queued up for the dryer cos the weather's crap yet again!! DH"s mum and Dad are coming for their tea later on, we're having it when the kids are in bed, we need to talk about the situation with BIL and his fat evil wife. I'm not bitter, can you tell??!!! Ha ha. Whilst I was in domestic goddess mode, I decided I would quite like to bake a cake today, but I think that thought may have left now! Got to sort all the kids stuff out and my stuff for work etc. All good clean fun hey? Sammy pants has taken a few more steps yesterday and this morning, I'm hoping he comes on quicker now, but he's too chilled out! Catch up later. xx

there is a play centre now in the food court of the trafford centre but now sure if its a leave your child one or parent friendly one!? X

When you dont turn up for a shift in the fire brigade they send a fire truck and a team over to knock for you, when you dont turn up for a shift in the police they send a officer round in the car.....they then will try and break in to make sure your ok... note to self “ dont get your shifts mixed up” i thought i was on a late shift and Grant took Paige out geocaching so i got a lay in. My mobile is always on silent... i felt awful... My neighbour works for Heathrow , i wonder if they send a pilot and a plane when he doesnt turn up for work...lol !!

I cant believe how many of you are pregnant !!!

First bean- have a great time honey but so sorry to hear about the job, you never know they pick someone who turns out to be rubbish or doesnt turn up, so many people leave jobs after a week or so x

Emzy- Love the ticker !!! U had better not leave us... we will hunt you down ! lol x

louise- sorry to hear things are not going well honey, you guys have had to get used to a lot.... x

Jelly- sorry to hear JJ isnt well hon : ( x

LBB- Grant moans about my pram, if i leave it in the boot he moans when we get the shopping, when its left in the hall way he moans still !! And now he wants a expensive watch, he doesnt look after anything he gets x

Hugs to everyone else i have missed

Quick hi from me! :hi:
Having a lovely visit with family in the beautiful Kootenays.
Tobe staggering around all over the place although he still defaults pretty quickly to walking. He sure is pleased with himself! :)
More later, must run!

Ooh yes LBB you're right, there is a creche thing in the TC and I'm pretty sure there is a play area that you can pay to go in with them, maybe that'd be a good place to go? I'll look into it!
