Tobe was a beast of a baby last night. I am so freaking tired today. I seriously considered just throwing cheerios on the floor for forage and going back to sleep.
But the damage to the house would be so massive, I hauled myself out of bed, glared at the boys resentfully while I got breakfast and finally cheered up a bit after several very strong s.
Oy.
Anyone want to come over and parent for me this morning?
Just not sure I have it in me today.
Sigh.

Okay, watching Simon run around naked at top speed yelling out "baa baa black sheep" and frantically drumming along on the furniture as he runs by. Tobe is doing that bum-bobbing baby dance and clapping enthusiastically at this performance! Just when you think you are too tired to cope, they get so cute and crazy.

Good luck emzy and teeny for tomorrow so excited for you! Teeny my tip would be to have a bowl of rice Krispies as soon as you get up...that seemed to really work for me! I also used to carry polos with me and had one if i started to feel sick! X

TW, that sounds horrid you poor thing. I was only nauseous with Harry and that got me down so I can't imagine how you must be feeling.

This time last year my waters had broke and contractions started straight away. I've baked a vanilla and chocolate whirl cake just got to wait until it's cooled down to decorate, wrapped all his prezzies and blown up some balloons. It's dh birthday today and we both celebrated by getting stuck on the motorway tonight for over an hour. Had to call my friend to pick up JJ as was worried I wouldn't get back in time. JJ has his first dentist appointment Friday morning. Were letting JJ open his prezzies tomorrow night as we won't have time to open and play with them in the morning (I thought it would be more unfair to open then not be able to play with them?

Aww happy birthday for tomorrow for the handsome jj! Lilia sends her sloppiest kisses!

Teeny I feel for you, I was sick with Lilia until about 32/34 weeks every morning without fail! I also had postural hypotension for the first 3 months or so meaning my blood pressure dropped low every time I sat or stood up and I had awful food aversions!! On the plus side I lost weight and was my pre preg weight at full term!! That's why I'm worried about my next pregnancy, I was so poorly I don't know how I'd cope with that plus a toddler! And the spd! Blimey it's no winder Lilia has been such a dream baby!! Hope it gets better for you. I was advised to have a packet of ginger nuts by the bed and to eat one as soon as I woke up, apparently ginger is good for nausea/sickness? It worked until I threw one back up, didn't fanc them so much after that!

I was sure that Tobe was a girl because I was so much sicker with him than I was with Simon.
I think there is now scientific study to back up the "girls make you sicker" old wives' tale - extra estrogen or something like that? But I think the most important factor is still just your individual baby's chemistry.

I had less sickness with Paige compared to Jake, with Jake it was really bad, hardly anything with Paige..

Kara thats the same as me but I've been waiting since March and my contract is stupid money for what it is we also have no idea when the 5 will come out might be this time NEXT year

Damn toddlers are a pain in my bum...Tabs has woken up screaming that she won't go back to bed. Possibly mean but i put her on the couch lights on and told her she was going back to bed. (she wants to sleep with me - but no way I'm giving up time with Robin when he comes back just to keep peace).

Oh Ladyk, I have put Rosie in the high chair and turned round to her standing up in it, how she hasn't fallen out of it I don't know, I have 99.9% of the time remembered the straps now, she will just get up otherwise!

Well today i get to sit down Not for long though! Chicken enclosure is up and they are in, i still need to do the roof, which is part plastic part wood and felt, we want to keep it as dry as we can for them. I am guttering the enclosure to catch the rain water into a water butt then we will have water outside meaning i dont have to trudge up and down our soggy garden to the tap!!!! Will post pics today i hope!

Went to put flowers on crash site of friend yesterday, dh has met him a few times with me and said what a lovely chap he was but now says he cant remember it, I feel like if i go to the funeral he will question why and I am not up for confrontation on it, so I got the biggest bunch of lovely flowers and my ds took me there on his driving practice, I have not told dh, but feel like i have done something. There was a photo of him there, it was very strange, I am still getting my head around it all, and thrown myself into this chicken thing to try and work through it all in my head! I have an excuse to be out and busy.
We have been friends for about 14 years, with a romantic flurry sort of in the middle of that somewhere! It didn't really click romantically (i think we were friends too long to know it any differently!)so we just carried on being friends, and he was so easy going it worked! Glad i gave him a hug every time i saw him now, as they have run out now and i would have missed out RIP gorgeous xx Bloomin motorbiles

Right got that off my chest a bit, cant really say anything on fb, and my ds is the only one who has understood, he obviously knew him too and has given me a hug and took me to put the flowers, and been the only one who really understood which is nice, i am very proud to have such a sensitive understanding son.

Off to check bank and fb, I need yet more stuff to do chicken run, only have half the roof atm! The rest of the roof and guttering is £75 though, and already spent £150 on materials!

Hi girls

Scan went well, they saw a sac and a yolk sack but too early to see the baby yet! Measuring 5 weeks 5 days so going back 2 weeks today and will hopefully see a baby and heartbeat I also have a massive cyst! Lol I'll post my piccy later x

I did read but am soooo forgetful sorry!!

Pippa and Kimi are both doing fabulous...

Kimi is an amazing older sister... she keeps rubbing Pippa's back and saying awwwww then giving her a cuddle....its very cute!!!

Breastfeeding is still challenging.... the MW thinks Pippa must have swallowed some fluid at birth and this is why she is not very hungry and quite sleepy!!!

I'm still sooo sore from my labour feels like I'm pouring acid over my bits when I go for a wee (sorry TMI!!)

My labour was fantastic!! It all started on Kimi's birthday... I woke up with the WORST backache ever but was DETERMINED to get through the day without moaning too much and even managed NOT to slap my IGNORANT mil round the face (will update you as to why later)...then on Sunday at 4.30am,, I suddenly woke up to a gush of fluid....called my mum downstairs, who told me that it could've been my waters but as I wasn't in pain to go to sleep....

By 5.30am, i started having contractions thick and fast...every 4 minutes lasting 40 seconds or so.... then by 6am, I was throwing up and could barely stand up so Mum phoned the hospital who told her to bring me in....

By now, my contractions were every 2 minutes and I was begging for g&a.... we got to hospital by 6.30am.... took me 15 minutes to get onto labour ward as every 3 steps i ended up having another contraction...got examined and I was 10cm and ready to push!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was terrified but my MW's were brilliant and encouraged me the entire time...there was 4 of them there and then suddenly at 7.30am, my MW with Kimi came in the room and said...Vik, I told you I'm gonna deliver this baby!!! Finally, with 2 big pushes, out came this tiny little fragile baby who was immediatly put straight into my arms, weighing a petite 7lb 6oz!!!

I didn't tear or cut but have a few deep grazes...I done all of my labour on g&a alone and didnt cut... I was chuffed!!! She is just perfect and has slotted in our family just right!!!




Oh back to my MIL!! She's very lucky that any of us are still talking to her....

On Kimi's birthday, we was all sitting in the living room overlooking the kids play when suddenly she commented on my niece, Dayna in front of everyone!!! She said to my brother ' what on earth is wrong with your daughter? Her legs are funny and she has deep purple shadows under her eyes? That poor baby is seriously ill and have you seen anyone about it? She needs to be seen ASAP!!'

My brother was mortified and extremely embarrassed....my mum took MIL to one side and gave her what for and she left pretty soon after that!!! She still hasnt seen Pippa and tbh, I dont think I want her too!!!

Had my scan, they saw yolk sac and little flickering heartbeat. They said I was about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant.
Glad your scan went well Emzy, there is less than a week between us! xx
