YM, just a tip that really helps, every time you need a wee take a jug of warm water with you, pour it down first just as you wee, it takes the sting out of it totally while you heal xx
Salt baths heal fast too xx

The photographer was rubbish didn't have a clue . She got annoyed at the girls moving apart abd said it was difficult as one twin is bugger than the other ???? Layla who is usually so gigly didn't smile once at her!

Evening lovely ladies, sorry I've not been around. It's been a mad and crappy week at work, and then Archie's 7th b'day today, so just been legging it round like a mad woman!! I also had a hair appointment today, have had the lot cut off!! Feels weird, but I like it!!!

YM, your VBAC sounds FAB!!! And Pippa is beautiful, very like Kimi from the pics I've seen. With my grazes after Jack, I was told if it was really bad to wee, to actually run a bath and do it in there!!!! I never did it, I did what BTP advised, with the jug of warm water, that really helped. So did Savlon spray!!! xx

Genies, sorry about your mum, when you feel like chatting you'll have to let us know how things are and what treatment mum's having. xxxx

Am all fed up, obviously the BIL and SIL situation is ongoing, as you all know. They sent Archie a pressie, which is really nice, he likes it. But Paul never bothered to ring or text or attempt to speak to Archie on his big day, and Archie has been a bit bothered about this. The least he could have done was make contact with him. Grrrr. Families.

Am off to bed in a minute, full of a blooming cold again, still not got rid of the last one!!! Argh!!!! xx

Asher - That family stuff just sucks. Hope it resolves itself sooner rather than later. And get better!

Do you UK ladies not get a perineal spray bottle handed to you as part of your post-natal care?
Here, we get a small plastic squeeze bottle and are instructed to use it with warm water during and after all toilet stuff. It helped so much!
I also agree that warm baths can be really healing - especially with some epsom salts and lavender oil - really relaxes all that swollen tissue and helps ease the whole body I find.

GG - this is a pro photographer? Someone who does kids? Seriously? Well, if there aren't any usable photos, get pushy and demand a re-sit.
I had to do that once for my headshots for theatre. I had to fight the guy hard, too, but it was worth it. The second round was much better.

Sarah yep a professional yes aparently but I will be giving the leader the name of the lady at work that we use she is fab and will spend ages playing first before taking shots !

Work today it's fine once I'm there but my mum says she feels able to look after the girls today but they do tire her out so much ESP with opening doors and climbing on sofas !

It's turned all autumnal here , I've got tights on !! They are majorly uncomfortable possibly 2 sizes too small
