Seriously! Rant/OT

Ok so my husband decided to text me at work and ask me if I want to driver all the way out to Yuma(3 hours away) to pick up a friend who's car broke down..... I just worked a 10 hour shift, I havent eaten since noon, My back is killing me, and you want me to sit in a car for 3 hours? On top of that he has to get up at 6am and its a 3 hour driver there and back...We wont be home till at least 3 or 4 am. I told him he can go by himself but I wasnt up for that kind of trip... I understand helping out friends but youd think theyd have some sort of road side service if i was stuck 3 hours away I think I would try to ask someone in the city im in to take me back or call a taxi or something...maybe its just horomones but thats irratating. Then he had the nerve to make me feel bad and say but baby im the only one they have left... Fine go get em! ill be right here in my comfy bed sleeping so i can work another 10 hour shift tomarrow...

You sound perfectly reasonable and rational to me! I'd laugh, a lot, if my OH ever suggested anything like this. I hope you stood your ground and stayed tucked up in bed!
