We've pretty much decided on Elsie (in fact DH calls her this already) but can't help wondering about the other 3 names. I think the main issue is that although I love Elsie and know deep down this IS my daughters name, I can't help thinking about what other people will think! It's a bit of a marmite name, and plenty of our family and friends are probably not going to like it (it's not really the 'style' of name that any of them would choose - although saying that neither is Seth and they all love that now)
I know I shouldn't really care about what other people think and as long as we love the name that's all that matters, but it really hurts your feelings if somebody says something negative about your child's name! We've decided not to tell anyone until she's here though, and surely people won't say anything bad to our face when the name belongs to our actual real life little person?!!
