Severe Nosebleeds?!

Just wondering if anyone else is getting them?
I was having probably one a day, through my whole pregnancy...mostly first thing in a morning.
Midwife said it was nothing to worry about.

Well last night I started having one and it still hasnt stopped :/
Like to the point I got out of bed about 4 times last night because I could feel it pooling in my nose/at the back of my throat and I was leaning over the sink with my mouth open and it was coming out of my mouth like a stream!
Its finally stopped, but I know its gonna come on again, I can feel it!

Just wondering if anyone else suffered them bad? xx

I've had them in pregnancy, but never as bad as that!


Must be horrible hun, did you tell your MW exactly how bad it was?
I hope it gets better soon.

I get pretty bad nose bleeds, mostly at night, most morning I wake up and (sorry tmi) my nose is completely blocked with dried up blood, my midwife has also said the same thing to not worry about it but doesn't matter how much I clean my nose a few hours later if I rub it blood will come out, talk to your gp if you think it could be something else

Yeah both my doctor and midwife knew how bad, but its gotten worse since I last saw anyone, so I will mention it again
I know its something to do with blood pressure but my BP has been fine everytime!

I have had them, i was sleeping and felt something so i got up and there was blood everywhere, i thought it might have something to do with the pregnancy as i have never suffered with them before. x

My friend had it during her pregnancy - she ended up having to get a sort of burning procedure to stop it - nothing serious.

I've had a few really bad ones but nothing like that, one of the many joys of pregnancy x

i've had them all my life, and they were worse when i was pregnant - i was on consultant care because the bloods dept. wanted me to be monitored!

Keep mentioning them, as they may choose to cauterise your nose if thy are as bad as you say - ive had this done a few times now (it doesnt work on me ) but its 99% effective for everyone else. x

Oh wow I haven't gotten it that bad, but I've had them. My nose bleeds daily. It fills up my nose if I don't get a tissue once every 40 minutes or so. I think I have actually bought about 30 boxes of kleenex's in the last 9 months. lol
