Do you want us to send you some Pink or Blue Dust, or does it not matter???:hugs:

aww good luck hun, u gettin urs early, mines not till 21 weeks, but fink I'll be 21+2 x

Yay! Good luck hon. Let us know what happened :happydance:

good luck, hope legs are not cross..........

good luck!!!! hope you can see the sex xxxxx

:( Couldn't see the sex!! The stubborn little one had their legs tight together, she couldn't see it at all. Didn't even get a photo, she couldn't find a good position. I was quite upset about the photo, she didn't really try very hard to find the sex or get a good profile shot. Also, the machine was so ancient that it was hard for me to distinguish the baby at all :( I'm a little bit let down, I was hoping for a bit more but happy nonetheless because I saw my little one once more :) I suppose it will be a nice big surprise when he/she in born and I find out what it is. For now... I'll just call it Stubborn hehe.

oh no!!! :hugs::hugs::hugs:

stupid sonographers! they dont care at all!

at least you'll have a nice little surprise to look forward to xxxx

:hugs:
Aww hon, I'm sorry you didn't get to find out and didn't get a picture. I hate it when the tech comes off as unhelpful (that happened at my last U/S). Surprises are always nice though, it was quite exciting when I gave birth to my son without knowing if he was a boy or a girl. I'm glad everything else looked great. I bet bub was moving around a lot huh? and if you really want to know the sex, you could always do that Intellgender test thing

ohh no, but they could not tell the sex when i had abbie, had her legs closed, i was going to have the 3D scan, we decided not to.... all threw my pregnancy i was like is it a boy or a girl, but when she was born, all i kept saying, is the baby o.k , and the midwife was like, don't you want to know if its a boy or a girl..... i can't belive about the picture, she should of tryed....

is everything o.k with the babe

Aw hun I'm sorry to hear that they weren't very helpful. That happened at my last U/S. The tech wasn't very friendly, and when I asked him if everything looked ok, he said he cant tell me that. I have to wait and see if someone calls and tells me about any problems. I couldn't believe he wouldn't just reassure me!

We have our second one today. Hopefully it goes better. I'm requesting to not have that tech again. If you talk to your doc, and tell them you weren't comfortable with the tech, they might re-do it for you. If not, dont you have another one at like 28-30 weeks?

Thats what put's me off paying £100 for a sexing scan :(

did you end up being happy that it was a surprise in the end? sounds like it's the same scenario as me with the legs closed and all.

I couldn't believe about the picture either, I'm pretty sentimental and couldn't wait for my first "baby picture". We were thinking about a 3D scan as well, but I don't think we're going to go down that path, we'll just wait and see.

Sorry they couldn't tell hun! My mother said she loved the feeling she got when I was born and found out I was a girl. She said she is so glad she never found out. Sorry your tech was not the most pleasant. I hope she was very willing to reschedule you soon.

I'd do the intelligender thing, but I wouldn't be convinced enough to act on it and buy blue or pink depending on what it said, I think I'd be far to skeptical. Baby was moving around a ton when we got it done, kicking up a storm as well. It was adorable to see him/her moving around like a little acrobat and sucking their thumb, it sort of all became real to me. But so far, as far as I can tell anyways, the baby looks great. Every measurement was smack on 19+3, which was reassuring. She said everything looked good, but you never know with those techs... so we'll have to wait to see if anyone calls to say that there was something wrong. I'm sure everything is alright and babes will be fine. :) Thanks for all the feedback tho guys.

That's reassuring :) I think it will ultimately be more rewarding to find out when he/she is born. I don't think I'm going in to have another scan, I've already had four so I think we'll keep it a surprise.
