Yes this happens to me, it actually just happened about 1 hour ago... i was shoving food in my mouth like a mad man!!! When you are pregnant sometimes your sugar can drop more quickly then before, which makes you feel shaky...and you have to eat in a hurry!

Happens to me to, it's always chocolate or something sugary I crave when I start to feel shaky so have always assumed it's something to do with sugar levels?
I'm the same to, it's happens when I'm not pregnant but it's a lot worse when I am.

I remember this in my first pregnancy.

And for some reason the shower or bath made me feel like that too.

Yes, I teach and had to end class early one time when I was about to faint. I get very nauseated and dizzy if I don't eat enough.

Try to eat before you start feeling hungry!

I used to get really bad low blood sugar when I was vegetarian years ago, with similar symptoms. My doctor recommended eating every two hours and always make sure you have a balanced meal with complex carbs, fat, and protein. Sugar may make it better immediately but is actually worse in the long run. Try an apple with peanut butter or cheese as an immediate snack if it gets bad.

It is very common to have this earlier in the 2nd trimester since your hormones cause changes in your blood sugar levels. It will likely pass soon but some things that help:

-Eat fat, carbs and protein with every meal. By fats I mean good, saturated fats like butter, avocado, coconut oil.
-Try not to send your blood sugar on a roller coaster, don't eat extremely low in carbs but not extremely high either. Avoid processed sugar. Have a look at the glycemic index of food via google.
-Eat frequently.

Yes, low blood sugar! My doctor told me to make sure I'm snacking enough throughout the day

Absolutely! I definitely get this, full blown. Shaky, feel faint and nauseous actually.

Unfortunately with me, it also makes me really not want to eat, I have to force myself, and nothing seems to make it go away quickly. It takes a while after eating to go away. (although fruit seems to make it go away slightly quicker)

The ONLY thing that actually helps me is to not get hungry. I actually set a timer and eat something about every 2-3 hours, even if it's literally string cheese from my pocket or a little pouch of cereal.

I get this all the time.. just seen by cardiologist and all fine, just normal pregnancy changes.

I eat a spoonful of peanut butter and drink a glass of orange juice to raise it up quickly then a healthy meal right after. Try not to go long between eating. Eat frequent healthy meals. and as some have said try to avoid processed sugar products it may seem to help right away but makes it worse actually!!
