I'm round about 6 wks and 3 days approx. I thought I was doing well with the whole sickness thing as I'd just been feeling a bit sicky at times.. Tonight I was feeling sick and I just started heaving when I come out the shower and rushed to the loo and a very small amount of sick came out. This happened again about 2 mins later, hardly any of it when It felt like there should be loads! Now it's about an hour later and my legs and arms are still shaking a bit and I'm still feeling very nauseous.
Just wondering if other ladies get this with their sickness? Debating whether it's a bug or something as I'm a classroom assistant with younger children or whether it's just typical 'morning sickness'.

Ta ladies

I've been having terrible nausea but no shaking. I did want to say that the heat/steam from the shower could have played a part. Several women here have posted that they've gotten sick while showering for that reason. Maybe you're a bit dehydrated? I'd try and relax and get some fluids in and see if it helps.

Or hopefully someone else comes along with a better idea/input :)

Thanks anyway Hun :) I would say it could've been the shower but I should have added I was feeling sick beforehand anyway

Ahh, well I know that feeling. I actually wish I'd just throw up already haha. I'd still try fluids and rest because that never hurts but like I said, hopefully someone else comes along with better input :)

I shake when I throw up! I think because I hate it so much. X

Shaking could be low blood sugar. Try sipping a bit of orange juice or eating a small piece of fruit when that happens. I got that for about 3 weeks during my pregnancy earlier on. Eating something almost always fixed it.

Didn't we have a thread about our mutual hatred of puking a few weeks ago? ;)

I shake too and always attributed it to being so darn scared of passing out from panicking and being unable to breathe.

I find that the best thing to do is to sip slightly sweetened iced tea and eat a bit of toast or some crackers.

I shake with my sickness, although I feel sick all day the shaking only lasts a few hours in the morning each day. I'm so sick of this feeling now, can't wait until 2nd tri! Xx

Thanks for your answers. The shaking was just when I was lying in bed about an hour afterwards, I felt almost feverish it was weird. Then this morning I got up and still felt really sick. I didn't know what to do, it was like the sickest I'd ever felt. I had a little bit of pure orange juice and then about half of a cherry yoghurt - Big mistake though, was sick about 3 mins after. Carried on feeling really nauseas all the way to work and then for about an hour till half 10 ish when it passed a little. I had some fruit then and was fine. Mum had given me some ginger biscuits and I think they work quite well so far at helping with the nausea!
I've figured I start feeling sick in the evening, but as this morning was the first morning I wasn't well I'm not sure its gonna be every morning.

Could have been a little bit of low blood pressure coming out of the bath,,I always feel shakey when I haven't kept my stomach full and that's generally what causes my nausea xx
