I've read alot about nurserys for LOs on here quite a bit, but just wondering, is anyone in a situation where they are going to have to share with their LO? I am, it's only going to be until he's a little bit older. We're basically going to make my room into a nursery for him. Getting new furniture, all in white, and painting walls a nice blue (probably more of a royal blue/navy then baby blue) and decorate it accordingly to him. :) Then hopefully me and OH will have enough money to move. If you are sharing room with LO due to space issues, how are you planning on decorating to suit LO? Or are you keeping room the same? Giving up any beloved items to make room?

i share with alice and the room is tiny lol. basically like a rectangle my bed is one side and i can touch her cot thats how small it is lol. its my choice tho there is a spare room up the stairs but i like to be in with her.
eerything in there is hers except a few drawers of my clothes.
im planning on moving up the other stairs when she starts not sleeping because im in there. but shes asleep when i go to bed and usually doesnt wake untill morning. and the colours are just nutrual it was bright pink but wasnt very calming so i changed it :)

I will be sharing our room with LO.

We have a spare room but she will be in with us in her moses basket & then she will go into her cot. When she is around six months we will move her into her nursery.

We've just set aside a space next to my side of the bed for her moses basket & nappy bin & her changing mat is at the bottom of our bed on a storage unit.

Our room is beige/cream already - so no need to decorate really.

x

ive got share im not painting it cuz its fine how it is even tho its pink poor boy lol ive had to get rid of my playboy things out my room so his things can cum in

I'm sharing with my LO until I get my own place sorted out. My room is quite big so everything fits quite nicely though there's not alot of space for my things all of the storage space belongs to her lol

I'm going to be sharing my room with LO and i'm having to get rid of a bookcase to make room for the cot! no idea what i'll do with all my books though, probably have to get my dad to tidy his bookcase in the living room for some of my books hehe. Oh and i'll be sacrificing not being able to walk into my wardrobe, its only a little one and i can reach everything from the doorway of it, but won't be able to get the door open far enough once the cot is up to be able to get my pregnant or post pregnancy bum into the wardrobe hehe

i dont need to share a room with him, but i want to, he'll still have a nursery with most his stuff but he'll sleep in my room for a long while in a cot, and i'm putting his name above his cot to make it his 'little area' :)

i have to share with my LO too as i sleep downstairs and can't have him upstairs with everyone else sleeping up there and we need the room for spare as my brother, his girlfriend and their baby come down once a month - im just keeping my room the same though, i doubt he would even care if i did it all nice like a nursery and while everyone else says they love decorating nurseries etc i hate it and really cant be bothered lmao x

i have a nursery for my LO but he will be sleeping in a moses basket in my room for a few months first! my room will stay the same though:)

I will be sharing with LO as we have no spare bedroom! I am planning on painting it a sort of dusty pink with horizontal strips along the top. A thinish white one and a bigger dark pink one. Then I have got all white furniuture and her nursery interior is all shabby chic. I can't wait to put it all together!

i can't afford to re-paint and change everything so i'm keeping it pretty much the same
my room is fairly small so it'll be hard
but i think i'd prefer to be in the room with her anyway
xxx

I'm sharing with lo not cos i have to more that i want to oh's mum has so many cats/kittens that she cant/wont rehome n they all go into the spare room + his sisters stay in there everyother weekend so even though shes said its alright for us to change it into his nursery hes staying in with us. We dont really need to get rid of anything just move things around n hopefully its only temp till everything else is sorted out n we can move out.

Im sharing with my LO for at least 6 months :) then we'll decorate the nursery and stuff

Im not redecorating my room though, they will just have the moses basket by our bed and all its stuff will be in the spare room anyways

xx

yupp i share with LO
it's only till i either decorate the nursry or move out :-)
i dont mind tbh i like being with him and he doesnt know that the rooms not been decorated blue for him

At my Mum and Dads there is a spare room but I chose to keep her in my room, it's quite small but not too small, it's fit her moses basket in and would just about fit a cot in but hopefully we'll have a two bedroom place by then, at OHs it's only a one bedroom flat so she's still in with us there too. Even if we did have a two bed house I'd keep her in with us until she's about 6 months old.

Ella has a nursery but she's in my room until she's a bit older. I wanted to do this anyway and then the midwife said I HAVE to have her in my room for at least 6 months.

Depends on if we move, atm were living in a 3 bedroom townhouse, so if we stay here, my LO will have their own room. But we might move to a smaller house to save up to buy a house.

I'm going to be sharing with Sophia. I have her crib right next to my bed and she gets the closet and a dresser for her clothes and I get a dresser to keep all my stuff in. lol right now she has more than i do so she deserves the biggest space.

we're livin with my OH family.. but his brothers moving out around october time.. so we're moving into his bigger room (with a shower room!!:L).. and are re-decorating our room atm into a nursery for LO. Although for the first couple of months we'll have LO in with us :) think i'll miss LO too much if they are that far away lol :)

xx

Kailynn has a nursery thay she will share with my little brother once he is born but right now she sleeps in my room in her pack n play next to my bed. they told me in the hospital that it is recomended they sleep in your room with you for the first year.
