Sharp pain in cervix

I've just had a few sharp pains in my cervix, they hurt enough that I shouted out and woke my Poor husband up lol. What could this be, do you get cervical pain when dilating? I've had some cramping but very very mild and not constant

It is probably what is lovingly referred to as "lightening crotch" I get this on occasion, as do a lot of other women on here. It is most likely baby hitting you in the cervix.

Hate that feeling. I get it a lot since baby is very low. I'd say could be baby's head turning or moving. Or a hand hitting it or something.

Probably "lightning crotch" I have been experiencing this the last few days and it is not fun! I swear baby is hitting a nerve down there.
