Hello ladies. For the last day and a half I have had a very sharp pain in my left hip, ovary area... I have or had, a feeling it was just trapped wind but I've been able to release quite a bit of trapped wind, tmi, and the pain is still there. It will sometimes disappear and then come back with a vengeance. I didn't get any sleep last night due to it, it takes my breathe away. I took gas x, I laid on my left side, I've tried going for a walk. I don't know what else it could be and I really don't want to call my ob just for trapped wind, you know?

Should I try a stool softener to help clear everything out? What else could it be?

It hurts so bad. :(

My Dr told me this is round ligament pain and completely normal. Mine is 90% on my right side but I feel it on the left sometimes too.

Wow this is awful, Tylenol doesn't even come close to taking the edge off. :nope:

I agree with Cookette. Probably just round ligament pain. I've been having it too, on my right side. It goes away if I sit down, but if I get up and walk around, it hurts with every step. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm now convinced that's what it is. I thought it was just gas so I probably overly exerted myself helping my husband work on the pool, lifting when I shouldn't have and now I'm paying for it. This is the worst! No position is comfortable, the ache is always there then the sharp stabby pain will come and take my breath away!

Would a baby band help with the rlp?

I had this problem Saturday after coming home from work, and most of Sunday. I thought it could be trapped wind or something of that, but it didn't go away.

I figured it was round ligament pain, but it was pretty painful for me. Mine was on my left side over my ovary as well. I didn't even overexert myself at work. I did more today than I did on Saturday, and I'm fine today.

Like everyone else has said, sounds like round ligament pain! For the past week, I get bouts of this if I sit down for too long and then stand up suddenly or from sneezing and coughing. Definitely hurts!
