Hi, I also posted this in the "pregnancy after a loss" board but thought I'd ask here too in case anyone can put my mind at ease...

I'm in my fifth week of this pregnancy. In August last year I had a mmc only discovered at my 12 week scan that turned out to be a partial-molar pregnancy.

This is my second pregnancy ever and last weekend I had some little stabbing pains just down from my belly button and to the right. They went away, but tonight I've been having intermittent sharp shooting pains in the same place but this time on the left. It's been going on for a few hours now and is quite sharp when it happens. Also have some mild cramping.

I had these same pains with the partial molar and obviously that's concerning me. That last doomed pregnancy is the only thing I have to compare to. Are these pains common and ok?

I had these pains and worried like you so rang my midwife said it's completely normal. If you are worried give the epu a ring.
