Sharp Pains what is this?

Last night I was laid in bed on my side and i got this terrible pain from my navel down to my vagina. the pain went but then came back 2/3 mins later. This happened about 4 times. i got myself ina bit of a worry because ive had 2 mc, so i dont know whether this is normal, was wondering if some one could shead some light, is this cause for concern?

I am not sure if you get round ligament pains there but I have had the same pains a few times so far. When it happens I just change position in case bubs is pressing on something he shouldnt!

Thanks, it really worried me as it did hurt alot, it made me grab my foofi i shouldnt be laughing but if i dont laugh ile cry cos it hurt that much!

It could even be a mild case of Branston hicks, I wouldnt worry if its gone away now.

Hi Zoe,

I literally have been getting all sorts of pains all over my bump! I got so worried the other night cause it was so painful (sometimes dull aches low down, sometimes stabby pains all over) that I rang the midwife and she told me to go in and get checked out. Everything was fine and bubs was fine!
I think sometimes we forget that our bodies are completely changing to accomodate our little babys! All our organs are shifting and bumps are growing- and surely we are bound to have some pain when you think of all that is going on!!

I think as long as it isn't extremely painful continuously (although I do get pain a lot of the time but its not horrendous) or you are not bleeding or leaking any fluid then it probably just is normal pregnancy pains!!!
