sharp stabbing pains any ideas?

Hi, in new to this forum not sure of all the jargon yet lol, basically this is my first month trying for a baby, i have used the clear blue ovulation test kit and followed the instructions religiously. Today i have had like a sharp stabbing pain on my right side of my tummy, my period is not due for another week or so, any one else experienced this? Plz help thanks

It could be ovulation pain or appendix. Have you gotten a positive on your ovulation kit yet? Also where exactly is your stabbing pain and how bad is it(1-10)?Your appendix is on your right. Ovulation pain is usually lower and more in the pelvic region. Your appendix sits about 1" below your belly button and 4-5" to the right. I hope this helps.

Hi thanks for your reply, yes i had a positive on the ovi test it gave me 2days of high and 2 peaks, i ovulated day 14 or 15 the pains where similar to ov pains but mine tend to be either left or right, this month it was the right side and the weird pains were also on the right, thanks again for replying to me

I usually get those almost exactly a week before I start AF as well. Not sure what it is, but as I've never had any medical issues...I'll assume it's normal.
