Evening ladies, I'm nearly 29 weeks and absolutely exhausted! My hands and feet are all puffy and swollen, I've had to take my rings off and none of my shoes fit! I'm finding it increasingly difficult to do things and by after tea time I'm fit for nothing!

How do all you ladies who already have kiddies cope? This is my first and I can't imagine doing this with a toddler, its hard enough working!

Really really really looking forward to having this baby but just feel bloated and very uncomfortable and it's almost impossible to get a decent nights sleep no matter how many pillows I have :dohh:

Anyone else struggling a little or are you all glowing? :hugs:

:hugs::hugs:

Wow! 29 weeks:thumbup:......that is awesome :D!!!! I am a mere 10 weeks tomorrow and all I could think about today was how in the world am I going to work until Spring Break?? I teach, baby is due in May, and our break is in the middle of April. My goal is to work until then, but I'm telling you, I just can barely go!!! I am so impressed that you are at 29 weeks!!! You will be there before you know it! It is the most exhausting thing ever. I have 3 much older boys (16, 15, and 12). Thankfully, they manage themselves pretty well. We've been having a lot of cereal for supper :blush:! I work with a young lady who is expecting her 2nd--she has an 18th month old. I don't see how she gets to work each day!!!

Anyway, hang in there.....keep us posted :). Your bundle of joy will be here before you know it!!!

Tracy

Just take one day at a time! I drink camielle (sp) tea and it helps with sleeping...

ugh...know the feeling...my first Bean was born in Nov.09 and i was totally the same...this Button is coming in May and altho i'm also only 10+1 weeks i KNOW i better get my butt in gear and stay fit or Beanie will run me ragged! I really do think its a mental thing, well...for me it is. I mean i have no choice!lol My OH works shifts and between early, late and night and sleeping after night its quite a mix up some weeks and i'm pretty much stuck with most of everything! We are also planning a move to Canada around this time next year and my palms break out in sweat just thinking about it!

put your feet up as much as you can and think positive thoughts x

If your drinking chammomile (sp) tea it should be in very limited quantities. It is on my dr's list of tea's to avoid because it can cause uterine cramping and in excess may cause premature labor. I don't have any idea's of the amounts. I may be a worry wart but just wanted you to know to do some research yourself.

Thanks ladies - had another scan this morning and seeing junior made all the exhaustion so very worth while. I literally skipped out of the ultrasound overwhelmed with love for this little baby. I can't wait to meet junior and today was the little boost I needed to suck it up for anther while :hugs:

Sending :hugs: your way hon! I remember those days all to well from my other kiddos and I know I will probably be feeling the same as you soon! At the moment I am still feeling pretty good except for back ache when I've been on my feet for a long time so I'm trying to enjoy it while I can. :thumbup:

I am thankful that my other kiddos aren't as little as they used to be so it's been easier this time around.

For my last few weeks when I carried my first, my only relief was to wear compression socks (like diabetics use) so I could get some comfort and drinking tons of lemon water (a natural diuretic). And as your scan re-exemplified to you..it's all worth it. :flower:
