Why the heck to they only go up to 6 months+? It's just not big enough for the hungry baby milk and my aggressive little piranha baby  How do you make the hole bigger without making it too big? I tried stretching it with my finger but the whole teat pinged out and when I tried to put it back together in the dark but loads of milk leaked out the side because I couldn't get it back in properly :dohh:

What kind of bottles do you use? I know for alot of the brands you can get variflow teats that are for thicker feeds! I am currently using them for my LO as the size 2 are too slow but the size 3 are too fast! I think they are designed so the baby can control the flow of milk but definatly used for thicker milks. I am using Tommee Tippee bottles and I got the teats in Boots, they are suitable from birth. Hope that helps a little xx

Thanks :) I am using the tommee tippee closer to nature... she is currently on 3 and I had assumed that the variflow would be slower.

You can also make the hole in the teat bigger with a sterilised needle if you really need too, I've had to do this in the past as I use Dr Browns and the teat sizes are ridiculously small, although I can understand if people don't want to do this

omg I know what you mean, the ridiculously small teat sizes are the reason I scrapped the Dr Browns that and the fact that they are heavy and fiddly and leaky. Will try the needle trick if the variflow don't work because I have spares if I do it wrong the first time lol.
