She Turned the Wrong Way...

I'm sorry... I'm just soo upset now.

My baby has been in the head down position pretty much this whole pregnancy, according to my midwife...

And today, my little princess has turned breech at 35 + 2 weeks!
How do I know she turned breech? She just now had the hiccups... her hiccups have always been way low... and this time they were super high, a little below my ribs and you could see her head moving all over the place from left to right.

I think I might know why she turned breech too... :( It's my fault.

My midwife told me that my baby was back to back... and to help her turn over, that I should get on all fours for about 5 - 10 minutes a day.

So I did this... and for some reason, I think that's why she has just flipped completely over.

She flipped... but not how I wanted her to flip. :(

I'm scared to death of a C-Section. :/
And I'm not prepared to experience one. :/

I had this! My LO had been in an ideal position until I went to midwife at 36+4 and she said it was breech! When I went for a presentation scan at 37+3 it had turned again!!! Had def moved, as movements totally changed, as did where she could find heartbeat etc!
Hope your bubs turns for you! Bouncing on gym ball, on all fours, I put cold pack at top of bump and warm at bottom, and played music to the bottom too! Not sure which of these, but something did the trick!
Good luck xx

Hiya,
Dont be upset, it could all change yet. At 28 weeks my mw told me I was breech and I guessed this as I was always getting cervix kicks. Then I was under the hospital rather than midwife at 30 and 31 weeks who said baby was head down. Then midwife at 32 weeks said baby is breech and then at hospital at 34 weeks they said head down!!!! I have midwife again tomorrow so will see what she says this time.
My hiccups have always been low in my bump and the head that you describe I've been thinking is the bum wiggling under my ribs. I never get kicks to the ribs but feel a limb pushing into my right hip quite often. Ive booked a private scan (only a 2D one for 65.00) for when Im 37 weeks x

It's good to hear that they move alot. Makes me feel a bit better. Just shocked that she decided to turn now...

I've always heard about bouncing on a ball... and when I asked my midwife about it... she just said it was for exercise? Lol... but that didn't sound right from what you ladies talk about. Does it help baby turn or engage? That's what I think it would be used for.

I like the cold pack and hot pack idea. I just hope she likes the hot pack rather than the cold pack.

And the music... I've always noticed she moves like mad when I play music... but I can never tell if she is trying to run away from the music or run to the music.

Hun, you're only just over 35 weeks and babies can flip at the last minute, one of my sisters kids did! Do the all fours thing again, and check out spinningbabies.com, there's lots of things to do there that might help.
