Shocked by my hcg level

So I'm about 6 weeks and a couple of days ago I was cramping off and on almost like my period wanted to start. Earlier that day I had a small amount of brown discharge. The next day I was having a lil bit of cramps but nausea as well. I called my doctor and requested to have hcg levels drawn because I miscarried about 10 months ago and was worried it was happening again. My baseline hcg draw came back at 103958!!! Yes you read that right it's over 100k. My doctor called and said looks good and get your second draw tomorrow so we can compare, and keep your first OB appt on Jan 10th. I guess if he's not concerned I shouldn't be... But that number just seems so high. Anyone else out there with numbers like this??

Btw haven't had anymore brown discharge either : )

Super high hCG is a possible sign of twins...

Mine was identical with my second baby, progesterone was also crazy high! Oddly he actually measured a few days behind on my early scans! He caught up by 12w and then raced ahead and gained a week! X
