Anyone with a short LP in the 2ww or got a bfp with a short LP ?

How short are you luteal phases, mines is 11 days is that short? can it cause problems?

In think anything over 10 is ok x read in the short lp thread that someone got a bfp with lp at 7 so there's always hope x x

yes but opks all neg,, im 5DPO and due in 5days time iv put it on TWW forum about my situation take a look if you like and tell me wat you think im new to BBT so iv put my FF chart on there so you can see but i am on agnus castus aswell take a look x im not gonna test just yet with preggy tests until i know for certain FF told me to possibley test in 18days time assuming i have a 38 day cycle lengh lol but my Cycle days are 28 lengh to 29days and im on CD24 today and FF suspected ovulation on CD19

Usually anything under 10 is considered short. Mine is right at 10... I emailed the doc today to see if she thinks I have a chance with a LP of 10. I'll keep you posted on her answer!

I wasn't able to find your post in the 2ww forum. Sorry.. tried to look for your chart.. no luck~!
5 days to go.. tick tock.. tick tock!! hoping you get your bfp!! my stupid AF is due tomorrow... I am taking B6.. so hopefully that will extend it a few days! we'll see!

short lp - is that the days before u ovulate?
i ovulated this month at day 9/10 so i would be on the cusp!
got to wait 18days til test day?! on a 28day cycle

The lp is the time after ovulation...

I'm 10 days too... fingers crossed for you all x

I would say longer is better... just makes the 2ww turn into a 2 1/2 week wait! ggrrrr ... much better than my week and a half wait!

good luck ladies!! AF is scheduled today... so we'll see. I've been taking B6.. in hopes of extending my cycle... not sure it's working.. I feel cramps from the witch... i think Im hoping it's baby cramps!!

Next month I will be taking b6 and b12 to see if I can make it a bit longer.

keep me posted! I've seen women on here who have gotten pregnant only after a few tries with a short LP... not in my case. My hubby has a mild sperm issue.. so i'm sure that's a factor as well. I emailed my doc yesterday asking her what I can take if anything to extend the LP.. we'll see what she says. i will share her info with you guys once I get it!

fingers crossed to everyone!! My clock is ticking today... AF usually likes to pay me a visit in the evening... so we'll see. Hopefully that bizatch will stay away for 9 months!!

Just wanna bump this thread up, did any of you manage to extend you lp? And do you take B6 every day? Where can i get some and is it over the counter?!

My luteal phase has always been 11 days and this had me worried in case it was too short, I started taking vitamin b complex strong 2 a day which I bought over the counter at chemist and got pregnant first month of trying them! resulted in a miscarriage, i couldnt take them for a couple of months as it was a complicated miscarriage and had to have methotrexate shots 3 times couldnt take folic acid or anything, but the months I wasn't taking it again was always 11 day luteal phase. I started back my vitamin b complex last month and my luteal phase was 13 days so it had lengthened by 2 days! I'm only 4 dpo at the min so will keep you posted about this month, hoping for a BFP though, fingers crossed xxxx

Aw thats helpful! Do you take it every day, gonna see if i can buy some online. It obviously works for most people!

I take them everyday along with my multivitamin, this month I also started taking evening primrose oil and agnus castus only from cycle day one until ovulation and stopped so will see how that goes too, think they both take a few months though to get into your system properly where as I think the vitamin b complex started working straight away with me, you can only give it a try and see how you get on! xxxx
