short luteal phase after miscarriage? Just first cycle?

Hello, I have just had my first period after my miscarriage 4 weeks ago. It was very light (brown&pink&mucousy??!) for the first day but the next 2 were a normal flow. What I was wondering is if any of you ladies experienced a short luteal phase during your first cycle...I ovulated 3 weeks after d&e, but AF started 9 days later? My luteal phase is normally 14-16 days. I'm hoping this is just a weird month for my poor body, and next month will be normal as I want to start trying this cycle..so in about a weeks time Only a LP less than 10 days isn't good

I had a BO diagnosed at an 8 week scan 5 weeks ago, d&e 4 weeks ago-first pregnancy. My heart is broken, yet full of love for my one day baby xx

Any responses/experiences would be really appreciated, and I hope&pray we all have our little miracles soon xxx

Yes, I had a short luteal phase after mc too, only about 10 days on my first complete cycle. Think it fixed itself next cycle, but not sure, since I tested positive next cycle and and never got my AF.

I had 2 completely messed up cycles after losing Emmy. No ovulation, mid cycle bleeding and short LP. The third cycle must've been a good one, no mid cycle bleed, a load of ewcm when I guess I should have ovulated and a faint 14 days later, which suggests my LP was more or less back to normal. All this after 5 years ttc and having to do IVF to get pregnant with Emmy, 1st good cycle and we managed to get pregnant with no help despite my PCOS and DH's lazy swimmers!
