ive noticed that i spot around ovualtion which ive read is a good sign but then i always seem to spot again 6-7 dpo which u would think could be implantation spotting but instead i normally start my period a day or two later. so frustrated!!!!!!
You could try a vitamin B supplement. B6 is the vitamin you really want, but it is recommended to take a complex as the B vitamins are interdependent. A lot of ladies on here have had success lenghtening their LP with B6. I am taking a B50 complex right now but haven't O'd yet so I don't know if it helped with my LP or not.
I took 50mg of B6 everyday throughout my cycle. It did delay ovulation by a couple of days but also added about three days to my LP so lengthened whole cycle by about 5 days. Good luck.
thank you ladies so much for your replies..im new on here and appreciate it..btw is b6 something i could just start taking on my own or should i consult my dr first...the dr did just give me progesterone pills to start taking as well but i have to wait til my next cycle to start them..Its just frustrating cuz we been tying over a yr now and my dr doesnt seem to concerned with anything.
I personally started on the B complex on my own, after a lot of research about it. I haven't been to a doctor about all my issues (well I have, but never when I was ttc) yet and won't go until we've been trying a year (only 2 more months to go!). However, that is a choice that you have to make.
Of course the standard recommendation is "don't start anything unless you talk to your doctor about it first." I would say if there is already a time frame in which you will see your doctor to see how the progesterone is working just ask then. But again, it is your body, and your choice (until, of course, you get that BFP! Then you have to share )
