Should I call the doctor tomorrow?

I am scheduled for a diagnostic lap this coming Wednesday (for endo). The problem is I woke up this morning spotting. I am also moody and i've got cramps like woa! looks like is on her way.... 7 freaking days early!!!! I only have a 24 day cycle normally, and today I am on CD 18. wtf. Should I call the doctor tomorrow? Will it be a problem to be on the tail end of my period during the surgery?

I am so mad right now.........

Might be worth giving your doc a call to be sure but I was on CD1 or 2 when I had my lap and it didn't cause a problem, they only said thy wouldn't be able to go ahead if I was bleeding heavily. I reckon you should be ok. Good luck!

I think you will be fine. I had a lap and dye 2 weeks ago and was on cd4 the flo had almost stopped. Doc said this was a good time to do it as there wasn't a risk of me being pregnant. It also meant fir me there was no bleeding afterwards. Good luck with it x

No, it shouldn't matter. I just had mine less than a month ago, and the cycle day was of no concern to them.

It shouldn't make a difference, but I would call your dr just to make sure!!

Ive had 2 laps for endo, and they prefer it that you are on your period or just finished. To make sure your not pregnant and also if you do have endo and they can remove all the adhesions. If you would like to know please let me know. I really dont want to scare you. So dont worry hun and hopefully you DONT HAVE ENDO!!!!!

Hun do you have the syptoms for endo?
