Hey girls!

I tested last night and this morning and got a faint line on a FRER :happydance:
(click on to enlarge!)

My question is the wedding is booked (i never thought it would happen this quick!) i will be about 6 months when the wedding comes around - all going well of course *touch wood*....what would you do? Still go ahead with everything as planned or bring the wedding forward?

Just want to know what everyones thoughts were!

Thanks!

:hugs::kiss:

i would leave them as they are!!! One of the brides on here looked so gorgeous (like a princess) at 6 months pregnant- you can do. As long as you feel comfortable it doesnt matter. I say keep the plans, or bring them a tiny bit forward if you think being 6 months will be too much. Remember you need time to plan though too!! xx

congratulations by the way!!! xx

:happydance::happydance: congratulations!!

I would keep the plans as they are. I'm trying to think back to when I was 6months pregnant and my bump wasnt too big at all, and wasnt uncomfortable!! Obviously, the only things you may/will have to change will be your dress, maybe your shoes (if you were planning on wearing sky-scraper heels), and your food (if you were planning on having anything on the 'banned' list)!! Assuming it's not too late to change those things, and I assume it's not, then keep it as it is.

Just out of interest, how much closer forward would you bring it? Would moving it forwards create a problem for your guests (ie, will it give them enough notice)? xx

Plenty of girlies on here got married whilst pregnant and they all looked gorgeous so I would say go for it!! :thumbup: good luck!! xx

i'd say don't change plans!

We booked out wedding and then started trying for baby and got lucky first month

We got married 1 month ago today and I was 6 months pregnant, honestly I wouldn't have changed a thing about the day!

Yeah you can get beatiful maternity dresses :D Congrats :D x

keep ur date hun...everything happens in the order its supposed to...get a nice maternity dress :happydance:

thanks everyone!
unfortunately i have my dress already (and when i ordered i was borderline between 2 sizes ..........and me being me chose the smaller one!)
i love my dress and would really like to wear it. i dont want to change our wedding either as i think it will be lovely and all the family are really looking forward to it but at the same time i think if we were to bring it forward a few months (say to october) have a smaller affair - i would get to wear my dress, we would save money then have plenty of time after to still plan for the baby
it gives me reassurance that people have done it before and i can imagine being pregnant having a huge bump and a lovely glow!! so i dont know what it is that bothers me so much, i think its what other people think more than anything else - they will be staring at me, some will think its a shot-gun wedding etc etc !!

Could you not get your dress altered ... like taken out? xx

yeah, I would see if anyone could alter it...depending on the design of course!?

If you are happy to move it forwards and all your important people will still be able to be there to enjoy it, then I dont see why it would be too much of a problem. Have you checked with your venue that it's ok? xx

my dress is corset back so can go out a size or 2 i would think! and its a-line aswell so i think it would be ok. i know my friend got a bigger panel at the back to bring it out slightly..i think i'll just wait until i get my pg confirmed and i see it for myself on the ultrasound and then we'll decide what to do. our venue is fully booked 18 months in advance so it would basically mean cancelling everything and probably getting married in the registration office... i dont know if i want to do that !!

don't change your plans, i think that pregnant brides are so becautiful. those that matter and that are closest to you will know that youve been planning the wedding for a long time and that your baby was just an extra beautiful blessing to add to your wedding

thanks hopeandpray thats really nice of you to say and you're so right :hugs:
