Hi,

My son is 6 weeks old and i put him on Aptimal Comfort about a week ago becuase of constipation, however i feel as if he is never really full he has 4oz every 3hours, and my Hv wants me to reduce it because he has gainned weight quite quickly but he isn't in any way fat or obest just a big boy in my opinion (some people still think he is tiny)

I have been thinking to place him on Aptimal 1, he has never had it before but i do want something that will fill him up but at the same time i dont want to cause him really bad constipation

so i am just wondering do you think i should let him try the Aptimal 1 or leave him on the comfort and increase his oz to 5oz..?? i know as he is still young there isnt much i can give him other then milk to feel him up he is quiete a hungry baby but i dont want to try the hungry baby milk as it never done anything for him last time when he tried, Also his poo has become runny is this bad..?? does it mean the milk is going right through him (sorry if tmi)

Thank you all inadvance..x

I dont know about the aptamil comfort, but my twins are now on aptamil 1 after changing them over from SMA 1.
They were getting constipated on the sma milk, and since being on the aptamil they have been much better and happier. I did discuss the change with my HV before i did it, so maybe talk to her before actually changing xx
