omg this thread annoys me about tight arse people who come to yours for christmas and don't bring anything, not even a bottle of wine do they know how expensive christmas dinner is?

Tis a shame shes coming really was looking forward to seeing BIL without her for a change as he never talks while shes there she just over powers and talks over him so hes just given up...

Just beat her down.

Or give her a carrot, maybe that'll shut her up?

I wouldn't have given her anything but thats just me, I'm mean. I also hate people who invite themselves, I really am mean enough to tell them that no, they weren't originally invited so no, they cannot come. If the invite doesn't say + guest, then no guests are invited. In my family, you invite one guest and everyone brings one.
