Ok so I was wondering if I should go to the doctor for advice on TTC?

Did any of you go the the doctor? Do they do tests or anything?

Hmm they only do tests if they believe there could be something wrong and depending on how long you been TTC?

Have you had any concerns or is it just for more general advice? :)

Just for general advice really. I have had cysts on my ovaries before tho which could be a worry? And I also suffer with low blood pressure/anaemia

Xx

I would advise to go to your Doctor just for peace of mind and any advise he could give you I.em will any of your conditions interfere with you TTC etc will make you feel abit more happier. :)

Thank you I will phone now or an appointment xx

I had a well woman appointment with the nurse, I mentioned we were TTC and she scheduled me for some blood tests. They do recommend a smear before you TTC as well.

I was so happy all the results came back great, although non were fertility related it's nice to know you're healthy!

I went to the DR after not having a period for four months and BOY AM I GLAD I DID! I didn't know what was wrong and I was too nervous to tell my OBGYN but finally I got up the courage and went in about a week ago. Not only was he COMPLETELY understanding of why I wanted children at 20, but he prescribed me provera to start my period and is starting me on clomid once I am done taking my provera (only three days left!!). SO for me, going to the DR was well worth it.

if your DR is a good one, he will help you out. That is, afterall, what they are there for.
