Okay i'v been posting on here a few times to make it short i'm 22 FOB is 21 i'v known him for many years. When I found out I was pregnant he was very supportive said how he really wanted a little girl never even brought up abortion and said how he wanted his child to know him. Well one day he suddenly decides he doesn't want to be a dad and leaves I haven't heard from him since :wacko:It's been about a month.

The last thing he said was that everything was his fault feeling sorry for himself how I deserved to be treated better and he asked me if I found out if it was a boy or girl. I didn't know at the time. His parents have been supportive even come to visit me and told me they want to be in the babies life I figure he would eventually find out the gender and things about the baby through his parents.

Should I even bother sending him to tell him the gender ? and ultrasound picture?

Personally I didnt bother telling my LOs dad, he couldnt be bothered to turn up at the scans so I figured why bother. As far as I know FOB didnt know she was a girl until I text him saying she had been born x

If he hasn't bothered to contact then no I wouldn't

I ended up sending to him.. I figure even if he doesn't care or respond then 1.It shows what type of person he is and 2. I'm still happy and excited about it anyway.

My mother paid for a gender scan as a present to lift my spirits. FOB knew about it but didn't bother asking to come along nor text me to ask. I did inform him but he never asked for a photo but I think you have done the right thing by telling him... so, worst case scenario, he can't throw it back in your face you didn't tell him.

And congratulations!!!! :hugs:

Just wanted to say congrats on your girly :pink: think you did right thing telling him least you'll know you gave him every chance to be involved will give you peace of mind if nothing else
