I wasn't part of the messy house thread, but this is what my living room looks like between the hours of 7am-11am and 1pm-7pm....I tidy up when Logan naps but im not sure why as its a mess again when he comes down from his nap.

I don't post pics online, but if I did they'd be almost mirror images of all that have been posted already! I have a lovely tidy house between the hours of 8pm and 6/7 am, once she's up I don't see the point in tidying away her stuff! And yes I store recycling bin things on the sink, and wet nappies by the door, ready to be brought to the bin for when I get a dirty nappy!

For some reason, I cannot keep my kitchen table clean. I totally clear it off every so often, but more and different junk piles right back on it.

My living room isnt too bad, but Julian has a new habit of stealing shoes from the hallway and carrying them around the house. So I find single shoes and sandals everywhere.

My sink area was worse a few days ago...now most of the dishes are done and the mess comes from the clutter of medicines, jars, and the streusel cake I made last night. Thats the only counter space I have in the kitchen, so its always pretty messy.

man I gotta love this thread. Makes me feel so much better that I'm not the only one. my kitchen table is always messy. It's a mine field I can keep it clear for about half a day lol. the rest of the house is a mixture of our stuff laying about dishes to be done again. Los stuff that he has taken on a crawling adventure somewhere

Love this thread I have a cake stand that is always full of rubbish! My girls have been up 20 mintues and its becoming a mess. I'll post pictures tomorrow one in the morning and one later on to show the progressing of mess from a toddler and baby!

Omg the top of the fridge! Mine too! Actually anywhere higher than Micah can reach has now become a dumping ground for all things he shouldn't have that I take off me him throughout the day!

A typical conversation most evenings:
OH: "Where are my shoes"
Me: "On the back of the sofa, Micah was eating them"
OH: "OK thanks, and the remotes?"
Me: "I think the Playstation one is on top of the fridge, not sure about the others, have you checked the top shelves of the bookshelves?"
OH: "Did I get any post?"
Me: "yes.. check the pile of chewed paper on top of the microwave"

Apart from LO's toys being everywhere, I think I do a decent job at keeping downstairs fairly clean and tidy. But upstairs.. our bedroom in particular, god I don't think I'm brave enough to take a picture of all our clothes on the floor!
