Sick 3x in less than month... PLEASE Help me!

Okay, this is the third time in less than two months, that I've fallen sick!
Sore throat, sore ears, coughing, heavy chest, and sometimes I even get
a stabbing pain right in the middle of my chest. We've been doing so much
running here these past couple months, without getting adaquate time to
rest/recover after each episode so feel that my immune system may be weakened.

I've been rinsing with warm salty water; drinking lots of tea (feel the need
to constantly have something hot on my throat) Taking Zyrtec and Mucinex.
And then there is the constant sucking down of the Halls coughdrops.

So, was wondering if you ladies could make recommendations for anything else!??
Also, I was thinking about getting a vaporizer or humidifier, but which is better?

Have you been having a fever? Coughing extensively can cause chest pain, but this could be anything from a type of pneumonia to some kind of sinus problem. You REALLY need to get to the doctor and get checked out, hun. Especially if you have a fever.

My temp is 99.5... which is considered a fever for me.

DH is starting to think I may have asthma (his mom has it)
and is insisting I make an apt with the Dr. asap. Will do tomorrow!
