I remember when Oliver had a cold before he was sick with snotty sick but i can't remember if it is normal

His cold seems to be coming to an end now. He seems less upset.

we're laid up with the cold here its so horrible with the LO's being ill

i wouldnt say snotty sick is anything to worry about when they are ill though because if they sniff up snot its gotta come out really doesnt it

glad Oliver's is almost over

im sure someone else will be able to give you advice from experience but i wouldnt worry if it was my Ollie xx

WSS^^

They swallow alot of the phlegm so it does tend to upset their tummies a little and if they're sick, it'll be kinda snotty! Same with their poo
If you're worried or concerned tho, always best to check it out with your HV or GP :flower:

I am guessing it is normal.
Ella, 11wks, has had a snotty cold for 6 days now.
She is at the end (I hope) now with a runny and congested nose with some green snot when she sneezes hard (I am using saline spray to clear her out).
She has a lot of clear dribbly mucus too which is making her sick more than normal, you can hear the film it has left in her throat when she has her bottle.
Needs to do a big cough but babies don't do that easily!
The sick is very stringy, milky and clear bits.
Oddly, she is happy enough!
Mummy isn't though with 9 outfit changes a day and thats just her :growlmad:

oh yes - and her poo has become a bit looser and we now have 3 a day instead of 2...
I am guessing that is part of the package also.
