sick

jacob is on 7oz 5 feeds a day he weighs 14lb and is spot on, on the charts and is healthy.
but after some feeds he is sick, sometimes just a little and sometimes a lot. he isnt losing any weight and everytime he is sick he always has a little smile after and is in no distress at all.

iv spoken to the hv and she says he may be on too much feed, but i think he is on the right amount and if we give him any less he always creates wanting more, until he reaches 7oz then he is content. we have taken more time feeding him as he is quite quick, a feed usually takes him 10-15 mins to finish.

he seems really happy and is in no way distressed. is this just something we are to put up with?

he will be starting weaning soon so dont really want to start messing around with his milk.

i'm having this prblem as well with gertie and i have been told to cut down her ozs as well but she was on 9oz and i have dropped her down to 7oz but she is not happy with it so now she is having an extra bottle in the day an dis sleeping less on a night!

Nathan is on 7oz about 5 times a day and some days he doesnt bring any back but then we have days like today when he vomits after every feed and quite alot too...

I put it down to his wind as sometimes he brings up feed when he burps and it can be quite a bit too.

He also cries and whinges if you give him less. I decided so long as he is gaining weight ok and he gains about 1lb every 2 weeks so he is a growing boy!

thats what jacob is like, he is gaining weight and seems happy, even when he is sick. jacob wont stop halfway through for a burp any more, if i take his milk away he screams!! he has burps at the end though.
