Hey all.

I was wondering if you can help me.

I have been signed off work already for 2 weeks, with 1 more week left. I am due to go back to work next MONDAY. I lied to my GP and told her that I am now feeling 100% as my partner is worried about sick pay as we do not have company sick pay just SSP. Well im still sick, im still fainting but i feel bad for lying...

Anyway...

My doctor has asked me to book an appoitnment with her for Monday, but I have a shift that day, so I asked if I could see her earlier when I went to reception, problem is my GP is on annual leave. What should I do. I made a big sing an dance that I was fine, i put loads of make up on so i didnt look pale, i just feel so bad and guilty.

Do you think I should to another GP this week an tell them. Im on loads of medication that isnt working, and my fainting is getting worse and my nausea especially as I have started throwing up my anti sickness tablets, maybe the reason why theyre not wrking.

i would see another docter and get signed off work again. working during pregnancy can be hard and stressful enough.
and if your not feeling well, you should get signed off until your better
you dont want to put any risks on you or baby
xxx

i think you should stay off work, your body is obviously under severe strain and is telling you to stop.
i know you are worried about the sick pay but you and your babies health is the most important thing. please take care of yourself x

Hey all update, I went to the drs today, i had to see a different GP because mine was on holiday. I wish i never went now....

The doctor highly insulted me, i said to him that i am gettng worried about my baby and i feel something is bound to be wrong with feeling like this for 20 weeks. He told me that how do all the african women cope in africa, and that there babies turn out fine with the lack of water they have.

He said he will sign me off for another week as my sick note runs out on monday, but guess what the dick head has done, hes signed it till monday, so again i have to go back to him and say you dfilled this out wrong. I AM SO UPSET, i feel like i am not getting listened to.

some dr's are complete a*seholes!!
my midwife helped me change my gp because he was misdiagnosin me for 2 years before another doctor figured out what was wrong with me... because of him i had to leave work at 29 weeks... i would have been able to have physio nd even an operation (pre-pregnancy). now i'm constantly in pain.
i really hope u get it sorted nd jus request a different doc next time xxxxxx

oh nd can i be cheeky nd ask what ur bp is?
mine is 85 / 60... i thought that was low but no-one seemed concerned x
