Plan on BLW in a couple months and just trying to get things sorted out. Have you used the silicone bibs with the pockets? They are $10-15 each so I hate to buy a couple and find out they are worthless. Also saw a placemat with a pocket on it. Thinking this might be good for meals out or at my parents.

We have a silicone bib (tommee tippee) that has a pocket at the bottom. It's one of the best buys we've made for weaning!! It stops the food falling all over the floor, it stops her clothes getting soaked with water and spat out food and it's wipeable so we can use it at every meal instead of having to wash it with all the other bibs!

The only downside is that nowadays lo knows that the food she drops ends up in there and so helps herself to bits as the meal goes on.... so that's a bit of pear followed by a soggy, half eaten, water soaked breadstick then????! Yum!

One of the pics I saw while shopping online was using the bin as anserving bowl! They put a handful of cereal in it and Were showing LO eating sitting in a chair out of the bib. Lol. Whatever works I suppose.

Not sure how such an old thread has returned? Lol. But they're the best, we don't use any other bibs.
