Silly Question

Okay Ladies I need your opnion, I just had a miscarriage with a blighted ovum, everything passed natural and ny next period came right on time or at least I think. I know that you aren't suppose to count CD 1 as the days you spot and I spoted the 16th, and most of the 17th and then a regular flow started around 10pm that night, would you count CD 1 as the 17th or the 18th since it was so late in the day to start?

i would count CD1 as the 17th as that is the day of full flow
