I've done upholstery in the past so I might have a look at the viability of re-lining myself - the problem is that I have athe sun canopy for it too and that matches the current lining so I might have to re-cover that tooI really am not so keen on buying a new hood and apron ... they are in perfect condition externally - just a bit faded

If you put in faux leatherette or faux vinyl on ebay it is listed by the metre.£5 Its in various colours and textures. I have done lining the bed brilliantly but not too good at hoods. If you use the original lining as a template then it should go in easily enough. You will need strong clamps but make sure you add sponge to the edge else it marks the vinyl.
SHoe spray for leather or suede is good on recolouring hoods . The proper hood colour is the same thing but you pay alot and get alot less in a can
I pad out the inner pram body with sponge padding and spray glue into place. (my prams are old) then glue the vinyl and upholstery tack the edges into place.
I reenact for a forties group. Some of my prams are shown there. If you go on the link then onto Our Collcetions. Mine is Vintage Prams & Pushchairs. https://www.northernforties.org.uk/
If you need any advise or links by all means pm me. Id be happy to help
