If you have sex before a day or so before ovulating, does the sperm sit till o. Or does sperm penetrate the egg right at the time of intercourse? thanks.
I have spoken to my doc about the same question and from what he has explained, sperm can live inside you anywhere from 24-48 hours or longer depending on the quality of the sperm. So normally you are most fertile in the few days before you ovulate and on the day of ovulation. Hope that helps!!
