How do you deal with events like christmas? does your LO always spend christmas day with you? With FOB? Or do you share it equally?

Well FOB has Chloe and Jaycee every other weekend and this Christmas happened to fall on his weekend so he had them as usual on Friday, Saturday and then dropped them back to me at 1pm on Sunday. It was so different and I didn't like it but I do understand that he is their dad. For him it was just about taking away something special from me because he couldn't wait to drop them back on Christmas Day cos his girlfriend was having dinner at his mums.
Their birthday fell on my weekend so he came round to see them at my flat but I don't change weekends and I don't do Christmas with me, Christmas with him. I'm their main carer so I get them, if it falls on his weekend then he gets them.

My family doesn't really celebrate christmas so my LO goes to his family for christmas because they make a big deal out of it. She really enjoys herself which is main reason for me. Sorry not much help there.
I know someone that always have her LOs for christmas and their Dad have them on boxing day. If i celebrated christmas i would share either alternate each year. Or Mornings and evenings split between you. Depends on your schedule i guess

FOB only sees my LO once a week & thats only been for the past 6 months, before that it was when he decided he weren't busy so in my eyes he doesn't deserve to have LO on christmas day/LO's birthday. I will never let him have him christmas day but would never stop him coming down to mine to see him. I usually let him go to FOB's either christmas eve or boxing day. If he'd of been a better, more consistant, regular dad i'd have less of a problem him going but i've brought him up & been there everyday so i'm not being apart from LO on christmas day x
