So last week I bought a condenser dryer off a girl from work, she said it's basically new as she barely used it. I paid £130 for it. I've used it about 5 times and it's tripping all my electrics :| my stepdad came and took the condenser unit out and all the electrics were soaking. He dried it all out and it worked ok for about half an hour then started doing it again. Stepdad has said someone had already taken the back off as there was a screw missing. I txt the girl butshe's adament it was perfect and no-one has been inside it, i'm so pissed off and there's nothing i can even do. Like i've just got £130 to throw away.. i've just had to go out and buy a new one, skint is not the word :growlmad:

rant over!

sorry you seem to have been ripped off, did she buy it new or second hand?? maybe if it was 2nd hand then she probably did think it was ok x sorry not much help hun x

I'd ask her for her receipt or guarantee if she's not had it that long!

I would be mortified it something I'd given to someone else did that!

I wonder if you could maybe take it to the repair shop or see if the manufacturers could help?
