Hi all my DD is 3 months old and still in size 1 nappies. She slept through the night from about 5 weeks but is now waking at 2/3 am for a feed.

The problem is she wakes and wants the booby immediately. If we try to change her nappy she screams and gets really angry causing stress to DH who then gets majorly annoyed and stressed, which then stresses me out.

I wanted to use a 12 hour nappy to limit this need to change over night, but the smallest I can find is size 2?

Her last official nappy change is 10pm and after her night feed she wakes again at 7 am. Can anyone advise?

Can you get some pocket cloth diapers to use overnight? I use pocket diapers and put two inserts in them and that gets my 4 month old through a 12 hour night without needing a diaper change.

You could also try feeding her on one side, then changing her nappy, then finishing her feed on the other side.

What weight is ur LO? My wee one is quite small and we had her in size 2s by that age. There is quite a big weight overlap.

I'd try the size 2 they might look big at first but they will do the job unless she is really tiny

I was going to suggest both these things!

I think sizing of diapers differs depending on where you live. My LO just went into size 2 diapers at 4 months old and they are a bit big on her so we get some leaks with them right now. Luckily we only use them occasionally as we cloth diaper most of the time.

Maybe. Here, size 1 is 4-11lb, size 2 is 6-13lb, size 3 is 9-20lbs.

So my wee one (just under 7lb at birth so pretty small) could have gone into size 1 or 2 right away. A bigger newborn could go straight into size 3!

We move her up as soon as she goes into the next size bracket and we run out of her current supply. She has been size 3 forever!

Yeah the sizing is quite different, in Canada newborn size is under 10 lbs, size 1 is 8-14 lbs, size 2 is 12-18 lbs, and size 3 is 16-28 lbs.

She's only 7.5 lbs so still in size 1. We are in the UK

At 7.5lb she can go into size 2. My wee one was in size 2 around then. What brand do you use? Personally my wee one slept through some nights from about 4 weeks, we never woke her for a change and we used Asda Little Angels. We never had any problem with nappy rash or anything (not until weaning anyway!)
