For the past few weeks, sleeping has been hellish for me. I most definitely enjoy sleeping, but I want to sleep throughout the night and wake up when it's actually sunny out. I usually get up and use the washroom every night at around 3-4am but cannot for the life of me fall asleep again. My thoughts wander and no matter how much I try, I'm stuck awake. Good thing there's naps throughout the day.

Do any of you ladies have any suggestions on what can make me fall asleep after I wake up so early?

for the past 2 weeks I have been waking up at 6 am on the dot.
i think the baby is training me.
but, sleeping is so uncomfortable at this point and i always wake up more tired then when i actually went to bed.
sorry, can't offer advice since i am in a similar boat :(

Not got that problem myself at the mo, but I feel for you, its awful when you can´t get back to sleep and the OH is snoring beside you. If I do ever have problems getting back to sleep I usually find that reading a few pages or chapters of a book usually gets me back to sleep again - that said I usually find the book under the covers again the next morning, but it generally works for me.

Good Luck!

Im the same but it's usually because Im having crazy dreams :S I have a lot of nightmares that keep me up, and I egt really uncomfortable in some positions.

No suggestions- sorry! Ive just been having earlier nights.

xxx

Ive been having sleep issues, mine though is because Im in pain. I can sleep on one side for a few hours then my hip is killing me so I switch sides, by 5am My bones and muscles are in such pain I want to cry.

I'm the same as VanWest... horrible pains on my sides when I try to sleep on them. Don't think I'm ever going to get my beauty sleep back!

I wake up every morning at 3, and most of the time I can't fall back asleep, what I found is that if I get up and do something, like go on the computer or go watch some tv, I usually get tired in like 5 minutes, but if I just lay in bed there's no way i'm falling back asleep lol

A frying pan?!

I used to go thru this too, and sadly the only thing you can do is wait it out and sleep when you can! x

!!! I'm surprised hubby hasn't thought of a frying pan yet, I've been keeping him up at night because I'm feeling chatty. lol

I've been finding it hard to get comfortable at night, once I finally get to sleep I'm up to go to the toilet and then I have to get comfy again lol! My mum say's it the body preparing me to get up every couple of hours :)

Oh yes. I think this is only the beginning... we'll wish we never complained about this later on when bubs is born! :)
