Sleeping on your stomach??

I'm only 5 weeks and when I sleep on my tummy I feel something there. That scares me. But even if I lay on my back I still feel the something there. Probably the baby's sac?

That's more likely to be your uterus, which increases in size quite a lot during the first trimester. At 5 weeks your baby's sac is probably about an inch wide, so most likely you won't be feeling that yet.

i've always had a habit of laying on my belly for sometimes watching telly or reading a book in bed but yesterday when i tried to do it i had to sit upright again as it wss rather uncomfortable

You can sleep on your tummy for as long as you can!

They recommend not sleeping on your back from 12 weeks as the blood flow going to the baby is slightly restricted, although if you end up in that position in then night then it won't be too bad.

They say sleeping on your left/right side (can't remember which lol) is the best position.

Its the left side they recommend somthing to do with blood flow i think??
I had trouble sleeping last night and tried to get comfy on my belly but it felt really uncomfortable like i was lying on somthing hard...i think thats the end of my belly sleeping for now.

If you put a pillow between your knees that really helps. I found putting another pillow in front of your tummy (so hugging like a big teddy) also helped as it stopped me from slipping back on to my front.

I'm a tummy sleeper, however it does get a little uncomfortable now, I am only 5 weeks but when I sleep on my tummy I feel like theres a bubble or something in my tummy lol. I am going to get a body pillow to help me sleep on my side.

I've just had to stop sleeping on my tummy as it makes me ache the next day. But sleeping on my side hurts my hips so I sleep on my left side with a pillow between my knees and under my tummy.
