Sleeping with lo??

Does anyone else have LO in their bed with them? Or plan too?

When my and Maisies dad were still together, whenever he wasnt here or when he went to work id always bring her into bed with me . When i was pregnant i never wanted to co-sleep but i just love it!

Since we split up ive sneakilyhad her in my bed a few times, and have done the past 5 nights in a row because shes been ill and wants cuddles off mommy! Now im lost without her and just want her in all the time!!

Who else co-sleeps?? Do you ever think about how itll affect your new relationships in the future??

On Hollie's last feed her 6am feed, she sleeps with me, but its only on my front for an hour os so and then i put her down, as i have a little dooze with her on me, but know what you mean, hollie has had this horrible cold, so she hasnt wanted to leave my chest, i dont see anything wrong with it, just as long as she cant fall off the bed and its all propped up around her, the only down side i would say is, dont let her get too used to it for when she is older, my mum did it with me and up until i was quite old, i would try and sleep in her bed with her xxx

My lo sleeps with me. But shes 4.5!!! It started when i brestfed her in the nite and went from there. My ex hated it. But when we werent really talking it was a good excuse not to have him near me.

Determined the baby will not sleep with me when shes born. Have been trying to get LO out my bed. I have no plans for a new man anytime soon, being pregnant. But would never take her into bed with another man. But really want her in her own bed so she doesnt get disturned with the baby in the nite

we were starting to take Alasdair into our bed a lot more when I was still with FOB. But when we split it just increased and I ended up putting A down in his cot and by midnight he'd be in with me. He was 7 months then. We did it like that every night til 11 months when he just started randomly sleeping through in his cot. The last couple of nights he's been in with me for an hr or 2 as he's ill.

I think it's fine and lovely altho I sometimes think (but it didn't stop me) that it's for our benefit not the baby's that we do it. But that's ok

I'm just in process of trying to get LO into his own bed and he's 3 . I had him in just few nights from he was about 7months, and it just progressed until it was 'our' bed. Now he's a bit older he started to want his own room, so recently i have put him up some new posters, got him a new bed and put some of his toys in his room, and he's doing great. I do lie with him at night until he's asleep, then sneak into my own bed. He has got up a few nights and i must admit i'm not very strict putting him back up, i want him to ease into it at his own pace, and since theres only me in my bed, its not annoying anyone else. However, i would say that i think he's in my bed more for my benefit than his, the first night knowing he was in his own bed i hardly slept!!!!

no i dont co-sleep because ive seen the effect it can have long term but then again she is stil in my room lol, i love having the sneaky cuddle though in the middle of the night if she wakes xx

My 10 Month Old has spent maybe 6 nights alone. I have been co sleeping since we were in the hospital when she was born. I love it!

Josh slept in his own bed til he was about 6mth old, he got a chest infection & i had to have him with me during night so i could sit up with him leaning up on me so he could sleep as he was quite poorly, so for 2wks he was in with me & from there i thought feck it he can stay as tbh i actually got MORE sleep when we co slept than i did without him. Josh would wake during night & either start gurgling or cry, but in my bed he slept virtually right through or if he did wake & i was right there he just went right back to sleep. So for us it was bliss... i had no trouble putting him back into his own bed & for mths he was fine but when ever he was ill i just put him in mine & he ended up then just staying for another 18mth , & we both loved it. I was single so it didn't bother me. When i decided he needed to be in his own room/bed though i found it very easy & had no problems at all , he never moaned or whinged about wanting to be back with me.
He's been in his own room ever since, he has a quick 5 minute cuddle 1st thing in a morning but he rarely sleeps with me now he loves his own bed to much lol
& now he's bigger its to difficult as we both like space lol

Thats really good, i might have hollie in bed with me every now and again, i do like her sleeping with me, i find it bonds us, but ims cared she'll get like me and i was still sleeping in my mums bed well into my teens
But as hollies cot is in my bedroom anyway as i only have a one bed flat xxx
